Anotace
The course seals with interpretation of phenomena and processes that make up the theoretical basis of materials engineering and engineering technology. Thermodynamics, diffusion, crystal lattice and its disorders, phase transformations, plastic deformation and hardening processes are primarily emphasized in this course. The main attention is paid to degradation processes, i.e. fracture of materials, fatigue, creep, corrosion, wear, and radiation damage
