Anotace
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with technologies for solid waste, liquid waste and gaseous emissions treatment. Students get an overview of block and process flow diagrams, mass balances, energy balances and economics of combustion methods, landfilling, solid waste composting, wastewater treatment technologies, and technologies for cleaning of gaseous emissions including new trends in waste treatment by chemical, thermochemical methods (pyrolysis, FT synthesis for chemicals), biochemical treatment (anaerobic and aerobic fermentation) and biological methods.

• Technologies and equipment for oil waste conversion to biodiesel and bio crude oil - principles, flowsheets, description of technology, process parameters, design of key machines and equipment, operational experiences.
