Students will get to know with the basics of the field of Process Engineering. They will gain a comprehensive overview of the principles and design of machines and apparatus, basic information on the description and characteristics of selected production lines from the chemical, food and processing industries, including wastewater and gas treatment, modern approaches to waste treatment and biofuel production. All lectured issues are illustrated on simple examples and on demonstration experimental equipment in the laboratories of the department.
