Annotation
Division of individual welding methods and description of their basic principles, used equipment, applications and method of use. Flame welding and oxygen cutting, electric arc, welding sources for arc welding, manual welding with a coated electrode (manual metal arc), submerged arc welding, welding in protective atmospheres, resistance welding. Division and description of individual soldering methods. Basics of industrial adhesive bonding. Basics of quality control of the welding process (qualification of welding personnel and welding procedures). Basics of inspection of welded joints (non-destructive and destructive methods). Basics of weldability of metallic materials.
